What a very interesting morning we had learning about folklore, ancient Irish history, St. Brigid, herbalism, flora & fauna, weeds, foraging, what is good for us, how to prepare the ‘cures’ and most importantly what is toxic and to be avoided.

Did you know the Dandelion’s yellow flower is representative of the sun, the white seed ball represents the moon and when you blow the ‘moon’, the seeds represent stars.
5 LADRA members, thanks to Aviva community funding, attended the talk and walk and all thoroughly enjoyed it.
A terrific morning all round.  Thanks LADRA.  Thanks AVIVA.
