Dear all

We are very excited to confirm that our Halloween Event will take place in Lansdowne Park next Tuesday 31 October from 5pm to 7pm.

This year, the DCC Community Events team have provided us with a face painter  – be sure to tell the kids to wear their dress-up costumes but come bare-faced!

Rueben of RTE fame is back by popular demand  and warm refreshments will be served for adults while the kids watch the show.

Once again, we’re doing Trick or Treat for Temple Street which will raise much needed funds for Children’s Health Ireland so please be sure to make a donation on the day.

Pumpkin Carving Competition

Bring your carved pumpkins with you to Lansdowne Park on 31 October to take part in our Pumpkin Carving Competition. Remember you will have to take your pumpkin home with you also!

The Halloween House of Horrors is back!

Send a picture of your haunted house to info@ladra.org by October 29, 2023 and our panel of judges will decide which house of horror hits the spooky spot this year. Tell us briefly why your house deserves this award!

Prizes for both competitions will be awarded by our judging panel.

New marquee – volunteers required!

LADRA have purchased a new marquee thanks to funding from the Aviva Stadium Community Fund. This is used twice a year for the Halloweeen and Summer events. We’ve formed a WhatsApp group of volunteers to help with this. It doesn’t take long but we do need a team of 6 to 8 people each time it is erected or dismantled. If you would like to help, please email by reply and send your mobile number.

Once again, the LADRA Committee would like to thank the Aviva Stadium Community Fund and DCC Community Events for their generous sponsorship of these events and competitions.

Kind regards

The LADRA Committee
